This idea came to be when I was at training and a teammate was telling me how they had shown up to training one day and there had been no one there. I asked him if he was on the Facebook group and he said he didn't use Facebook, which is totally fair. So I was thinking how could people who don't have the access to the popular outlets for clubs and societies keep up to date.
That is what this app is designed to do.
You log in with your UL login and this gives you access to the app. Then you can add any club or society that you are part of to your list. Any event that that club or society holds would be uploaded to the app which would then show up on your calendar. Also, there would be a notification feature that allowed clubs and societies to send out updates about event cancellations, venue changes, etc.
Hopefully, this would mean all students would be able to keep up with events and not miss out.

The design process began with writing down the main information students in clubs and societies would need. I then mocked up a wireframe to see how I might lay out the application. Once I was happy with the layout and design of the application I created it in Adobe XD for testing.
The main goal of this project was to learn how to create using Adobe XD and also to learn what made up the process of designing an app.
